About Us
Twyning Players are a long established amateur dramatic society based in the picturesque village of Twyning, Gloucestershire. We are a not-for-profit organisation and, when finances allow, we donate to charity and locally-focused groups.
We put on two productions each year, in May and December, and we’re always on the lookout for new members to join our society. Our December production is always a Pantomime but for our May productions we cover a wide range of genres such as comedy, thriller, murder mystery, etc.
Our rehearsal schedule runs between February and May, for our May production, and between September and December, for our December production. Rehearsals run on Wednesday and Sunday evenings, and are typically held at the Twyning Village Hall. If you’re interested in getting involved, either on stage or behind the scenes, then please do contact us.
